“The neutral space of art [was used] to create a public place that allowed people to sort through their past pains and concepts and imagine reconciliation… It is also true that to call something “art,” and through this challenge the social landscape, is to create a “new” territory. For a brief period of time, at least, the new was neutral.”

En torno a “La Piel de la Memoria”, un proyecto de Suzanne Lacy y Pilar Riaño-Alcalá de 1999. En el barrio de Antioquia en Medellin, un autobus-museo que exponí­a objetos recolectados entre todos los vecinos, objetos que de algun modo represenatsen su trauma ante una situación de violencia permanente.
