Gloria G. Duran, a renowned scholar from Madrid, will talk about Todo Por La Praxis (TXP), a group of artists, designers and scholars of communication who have developed innovative collaborative practices involving the re-appropriation of unused public spaces with the goal of increasing participatory citizenship and democracy.

TXP is in residence at the Marin Headlands in the Bay Area, where members are developing one of their installations. On Oct. 11, Duran will talk about TXP and the lessons learned.
